I've been doing a little [okay - a lot] of pre-shopping on Crate & Barrel's website, focusing on a rug for our living room. The room has very odd dimensions, being 27' long and only 11' wide, so I've decided to go with an area rug. Sizes seem to be very limited in the styles that I find most attractive and so I've put Photoshop to work to see which would work best in my room.

crateandbarrel.comThis is THE perfect desk, I think. It has plenty of work space and storage but still somehow manages to maintain graceful airiness; it's not at all heavy. .

crateandbarrel.comThe actual arching branches of a lilac arbor were used to silkscreen this original Marimekko of Finland botanical by designer Maija Isola in 1958. Today, Lehtimaja's graphic pattern awakens spring in our exclusive new bright green palette on ultra-soft 300-thread-count cotton percale. Reversible duvet cover has a hidden button closure at bottom.
